2012 is a big year for UK BMX with the UCI World Championships taking place in Birmingham in May and the London Olympics event in August. So the season kicked off early this year at the newly built Manchester indoor cycling centre and the Dialled Bikes Factory Team got off to a flyer.
Quillan Isidore, Jordan Hatcher and Keith Wilson all won their classes, making a perfect start to the season. Simon Homans was making his debut for Dialled Bikes in the stacked Masters class and 30-34 Cruiser class. Simon finished 4th in Masters and won 30-34.
Kye Whyte came 2nd and Claire Morrison 3rd in their respective classes.
Neil Harbour and Jon Moore both reached B-finals.
After winning both the National Team Title and British Championship Team Title in 2010, the 2011 season didn’t go quite so well for the team. It’s still very early days yet, but the 2012 season is looking more promising than last year.
